Spinach Artichoke Dip

My go to appetizer to bring to any party or make when I am having guests over is a Spinach Artichoke dip.  There are a ton of recipes out there but the one that I love to make is one that you heat up in the oven.  It tastes amazing!! The original recipe is adapted from Food.com but I have lightened it up a bit.

Ingredients:
·         1 cup parmesan cheese
·         1 cup 2% mozzarella cheese
·         1 (10 oz.) box frozen spinach, defrost and water squeezed out
·         1 (14 oz.) can quartered artichoke hearts, chopped into small pieces
·         2/3 cup fat free sour cream
·         1 cup 1/3 less fat cream cheese
·         1/3 cup light mayonnaise
·         2 teaspoons mince garlic (Spice World )
Directions:
1.       Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
2.       Combine the parmesan and mozzarella cheese with the spinach and artichokes

3.       In a separate bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and garlic.

4. Once they are both mixed together, add the spinach mixture to the sour cream mixture and stir

5.   Transfer mixture to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes

(This is before it was baked)
6.       Serve with slices of French bread (not included in nutrition information).  Or for a lighter version, try vegetables.

**I want to thank my friend Kristin for the white serving dish pictured above! It sits in a wrought iron stand and it's perfect for entertaining guests.  There are 2 others and a set of dishes! She purchased them at Home Goods in case you would like them for you or a friend.
